Caleb Lee (PhD)

Caleb Lee (PhD) is a lecturer in performing arts research and cultural mediator working at the intersection of performance and young people. His research focuses on creativity, civic participation and children's health and well-being, spanning artistic practices drawn from diverse parts of the world. Beyond academia, he splits his time as Associate Researcher of Rose Bruford College Theatre for Young Audiences Centre, Visiting Fellow of Zinc’s Venture Builder programme where he helps participants apply knowledge and methods to create impactful societal solutions, and being Co-Artistic Director of Five Stones Theatre – an international collective that creates innovative dance and theatrical experiences for children. In the professional sector, he serves on the Artistic Working Group and Advisory Council at Polka Theatre (UK). Caleb is proud to be a member of the Asian TYA Network.

Adjjima Na Patalung

Festival Director, Bangkok International Children's Theatre Festival (BICT Fest)

Adjjima is a curator and producer. She has a background in visual arts and theatre directing. Formerly based in London UK, she wishes to utilize her inter-cultural and multi-disciplinary experiences to generate, together with her peers, more love for theatre, and more awareness among the Thai public sectors about the all round benefits of the art form for people of all ages. Adjjima is currently a member of Asian TYA Network and she is a member of the curating team of STEP International Dance Festival (Sweden) for 2020 and 2022 editions.

Beni Sanjaya

Born 20 December 1988
Being a member of Papermoon Puppet Theatre in the beginning 2008 as set and puppet maker also a puppeteer. It started when I participated puppet theatre workshop in 2007 and met Ria also Iwan (founder and artistic director of Papermoon Puppet) as a workshop facilitator. By that moment, I was interested in puppetry and always learn more and more. Puppetry always reminding me to my childhood where I can imagine and share a lot of story to another people. It is the way to communicate, tell story and share. In this time I'm also interest to learn about how puppetry can speak to young audiences.

Elizabeth Cardosa

Member of the Industry Advisory Panel, Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA)

Elizabeth Cardosa is well-known as a cultural heritage commentator and advocate, raising heritage awareness in both print and broadcast media channels. She has dedicated her work to balancing cultural heritage conservation with social, cultural, environmental and economic imperatives.

Elizabeth actively engages in research and documentation of both tangible and intangible heritage and has also worked on several acclaimed restoration projects such as Stadium Merdeka in KL (Award of Excellence, 2010 UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation), and the Masjid Diraja Sultan Sulaiman in Klang (PAM Gold Award for Conservation (2019)).

Her initial training was in theatre and she initiated the first children’s theatre and creative dramatics programme in 1977 under (then-known as) the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. She has continued her involvement in culture and arts with British Council Malaysia where she was Cultural Affairs Manager; and since 2018 has been a member of the Industry Advisory Panel of CENDANA.
